Extracurricular Activities
At PM SHRI SSC AU GIC, we believe in a well-rounded education that includes both academic and extracurricular activities. Our goal is to provide students with experiences that help them grow academically, socially, and personally.
	Yoga At School
Incorporating yoga into the school's extracurricular activities offers students a holistic approach to well-being, promoting both physical health and mental clarity. Regular yoga sessions can improve flexibility, strength, and balance while also reducing stress and enhancing concentration. These sessions, suitable for all skill levels, help students manage anxiety, improve focus, and develop discipline. Additionally, yoga fosters a sense of community, encouraging positive social interactions and teamwork. By integrating yoga with other activities, such as sports and mindfulness programs, schools can provide a comprehensive approach to students' physical and mental development, contributing to their overall well-being and academic success.
Race
Race events in the school's extracurricular activities promote physical fitness, endurance, and healthy competition among students. Whether through short sprints, relay races, or long-distance runs, these activities help students improve their speed, stamina, and coordination. Races also foster a sense of teamwork and school spirit, especially when students participate in team events like relays. Regular participation in race events teaches students discipline, perseverance, and goal-setting, contributing to their overall physical and mental development. These activities not only enhance athletic skills but also instill valuable life lessons such as resilience and the importance of striving for personal bests.

	Shot put
Shot put, as part of the school's extracurricular activities, provides students with a unique way to channel their strength and power. Unlike many other sports, shot put emphasizes the importance of technique and precision over speed, allowing students to refine their focus and control. This activity helps students develop core strength and coordination, while also teaching them the value of patience and incremental progress. This sport also gives students the opportunity to participate in a less conventional athletic discipline, broadening their experiences and encouraging them to explore different forms of physical activity.
Kabaddi
Kabaddi, as part of the school's extracurricular activities, offers students an engaging way to develop agility, strategy, and teamwork. This traditional sport is a dynamic blend of physical strength and quick thinking, requiring players to outmaneuver opponents while maintaining control and balance. Kabaddi promotes cardiovascular fitness and sharpens reflexes, as students must be quick on their feet and mentally alert at all times. The sport also fosters a strong sense of camaraderie and communication among team members, as successful gameplay hinges on coordinated efforts and strategic planning. Beyond physical prowess, Kabaddi teaches students resilience and tactical thinking, helping them to stay composed under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations.
